Before humanity had learned to break the warp barrier, before the first Interstellar wars, before such a thing as the Borg were known, a mighty race controlled what we now call, the Delta Quadrant.

They called themselves the Antandi Sovereignty. No one dared to oppose them, no one. Until one day a new species came to existence in the Delta Quadrant. Neither man not machine, these beings soon took over all of the Antandi Sovereignty. A small group of their people managed to escape the destruction of their world, and they fled. For years, no one knew about them, they were forgotten.
